Alpaca wool
Alpaca wool is one of the luxurious fibres. Alpacas are sheared once a year. Due to its soft texture, alpaca wool is often compared to cashmere. Alpaca is just as warm as wool, but lighter.
Fiber is naturally hypoallergenic as it does not contain lanolin. Compared to regular wool, the fibre is smooth and does not
itch or irritate the skin. Alpaca should be divided according to the thickness of the fiber into three species: royal (superfine) alpaca, baby alpaca and alpaca.
Other benefits include water repellency and odor reduction. It is the perfect wool for baby clothes and other products such as blankets. It is a high-quality, environmentally friendly and natural renewable fiber. Alpaca is extremely strong, but at the same time
thin and has three times more insulating capacity than sheep wool products. We wash the noble alpaca wool only by hand.
